Fudds Choice Burger: Sriracha Pimento Cheese and
This summer, try our new Sriracha Pimento Cheese and Bacon Burger, picked as the top burger Winner from the Fudds Choice Burger contest, submitted by franchise owners. Many franchisees, across the country, submitted their recipes and the top three winners will become Fuddruckers special promotions throughout the year for all Fuddruckers fans to enjoy!
The Butcher The Baker Mgt Company, owned by Allen and Lee Ann Johnston, is the franchise behind the Sriracha Pimento Cheese and Bacon Burger. The duo opened its first location in 1985 in Spartanburg, SC. “Fuddruckers stood above the rest in gourmet burgers, and it had broad appeal. We couldn’t pass that up!” Allen said.
Today, the Johnstons own, and operate, nine Fuddruckers locations in South Carolina, North Carolina and Tennessee. Lee Ann said she loves hearing about the guest experience and credits their teams at these locations for the success they have had over the last 32 years.
One of their awesome team members is Brian Timmons, Director of Catering. Lee Ann describes Brian as the chef behind the scenes. Brian is also the creator of the Sriracha Pimento Cheese and Bacon Burger, which is a seasoned ½ lb. 100% All-American beef patty, topped with spicy sriracha pimento cheese and smokehouse bacon served on a freshly baked bun.
“I thought about marrying a trendy sauce, sriracha, with a southern classic, pimento cheese, to create our modern spin on an amazing burger topping,” Brian said.
The burger was a hit, not only through the corporate office in Houston, but also with the Johnstons. “Pimento Cheese is a southern thing and bacon makes everything better. The sriracha gives it a kick. It was a memorable bite and we knew we had to enter it into the Fudds Choice Burger contest. Now all of the Fudds’ fans can enjoy this delicious burger, too!”
Brian said, “after all of these years with Fuddruckers, I still take pride in serving a quality product in a timely manner. Our goal, as the catering team, is to build relationships and cater to our guests on a regular basis, serving them the World’s Greatest Hamburgers!”
